Accreditation & Associate Partners

The Mechanics Training Institute-NIAIMT has obtained license as Industrial Training Center (ITC) from Directorate of employment and craftsmanship training,  Department of labour and employment – Government of Assam. Vide letter no.- DET(E)SDI-2/ITC/2008/pt-XVIII/90 dated 3^rd –September- 2011 for conducting MES courses under skill development initiative scheme.

NIAIMT under NATRiP has also undergone a synergic partnership with M/S TATA Motors Ltd. for the Mechanic Training Institute facility by signing a MOU dated 30^th –March-2012 for technical support and excellence. The main features of the MOU is that TATA Motors will assist to equipped labs in MTI, provide e-learning software, assist to train the trainers, course design and infrastructure development etc. Also they may arrange for apprenticeship training for the candidates and also may assist in placement.

NIAIMT got affiliation and partnered with Automotive Skills Development council (ASDC) for conducting different courses up to NVEQF/NVQF level 6 as per National Occupational Standards (NOS). Affiliation no. A17GN0001 dated 3rd July, 2017. 

NIAIMT has also got affiliation from National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) for conducting Basic Computer Course (BCC) vide Ref No. NIELIT/BCC/E-Prov.9905357/ITI-C/EO-1019 dated 27th Jul 2016.
